Costanza Vallerga

Costanza holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics to Biology and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Italy. In August 2014, during her second masters course, she moved to Rotterdam where she focused on the identification of rare large effect genetic variants for depression, using segregation.

She joined the group in July 2015 after having attended a one year masters course on epidemiology and biostatistics at Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, Italy. Broadly her interests are in psychiatric genetics and she is currently working on Parkinson’s disease data.
