Anna will be commencing a PhD candidacy position with PCTG at the Institute for Molecular Biosciences at UQ in Q3 2018. Currently, she is working as an Occupational Trainee under the Wray group, having started at the beginning of 2018. She holds a BS in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology and an MS in Biomedical Informatics from Arizona State University. Her background is primarily in quantitative and evolutionary bioinformatics (particularly in oncology), but is currently contributing in both computation and wet laboratory techniques to PCTG. Her current primary project is exploring the molecular basis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS/MND).
