Jing Guo

PhD Student

Jing is a PhD student who joined the group in February 2016 after gaining a Master Degree of Human Complex Trait Genetics in the University of Edinburgh in 2015. Before moving to Edinburgh, she was a research assistant in Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, investigating the genetic basis of human 3D facial morphology and published her first research project in identifying selection signature on facial morphological differentiation among Eurasian populations including Han Chinese, Tibetans, Urghur and Europeans. Her current research projects extend her interests in understanding the genetic architecture of the human complex traits that have been influenced by natural selection.
