Dr Kemper has a background in agriculture and animal breeding; obtaining both a PhD and postdoctoral experience at the University of Melbourne (2006-2016). Her expertise includes genomic prediction, modelling epidemiological consequences of genetic change and population genetics. She recently broadened her reserach interests to include human genetics and commenced in Prof Visscher's lab at UQ in 2016.
