Jackie completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (with Distinction) with RMIT (Melbourne) in 2017 and completed the Master of Bioinformatics with the University of Queensland in 2019. Since then her PhD has focused on the genetics of perinatal depression.Previously, she worked in education, and had a teaching role at Griffith University in Brisbane and La Trobe University in Bendigo, working in the field of outdoor education and adventure therapy.
